Cadmus’ distribution team develops solutions for publishers to reduce delivery costs, shorten distribution times and improve delivery accuracy – domestically and internationally. Blended offerings of mail list hygiene, list presorting, co-mailing, co-binding and drop shipping are customized to fit each customer’s distribution objectives. Internationally, our Worldwide Destination Service provides timely delivery of single copies and bulk shipments.

Mail list presorting minimizes postage costs by grouping copies together by zip code to capture more favorable postal rates. The greater the number of copies that meet minimum qualifying requirements, the greater your postal cost avoidance will be.

Drop shipping will decrease delivery times and reduce postage costs by shipping your palletized copies to the local postal facility that provides the final internal sorting. The Postal Service offers work-sharing discounts to mailers who choose to “zone-skip” or ship the copies across multiple postal zones.

Co-binding enables us to manufacture and address different versions of a publication or different publications simultaneously to generate efficient, cost effective mail at the lowest combined cost.

Cadmus also offers a combination of co-mailing and destination drop shipping services for both Periodicals and Standard Class mail. Co-mail consolidation centers are located in Illinois and New Jersey. Co-mailing provides postage reductions along with more consistent, predictable in-home mail deliveries. For-profit and non-profit customers who have polybagged or non-wrapped mail pieces can participate. Virtually all mail is palletized so that postal handling is minimized resulting in a lower risk of mail piece damage.

Our Worldwide Destination Service provides accurate and cost-effective distribution anywhere outside the United States. By direct mail injection within the largest postal administrations, Cadmus expedites the final deliveries while offering competitive postage costs.
